Opened in November 2021 near Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh Bird Park was developed by the Chandigarh Forest Department and loosely inspired by Singapore's famed Jurong Bird Park. It's spread across 2.63 hectares (6.5 acres) with two walk-through aviaries and two smaller enclosures.
Every bird gets a 58-foot flying height to soar freely, with landscaped habitats designed to replicate their natural environments — a rare, cage-free way to see exotic species up close in the middle of the city.
