BuddyOnRent is a Chandigarh-only beta platform for premium social companionship. It is intended for adults aged 18 years and older who want to connect with verified companions for lawful, public social activities.

By registering as a customer or a buddy, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you understand this platform is for lawful, consensual, respectful companionship only.

BuddyOnRent is not a dating app, escort service, or any form of adult services marketplace. Any attempt to use the platform for purposes outside these terms will result in immediate account suspension.

All users — both customers and buddies — must conduct themselves in a respectful, honest, and lawful manner at all times on and off the platform.

Specifically, users must not:

• Offer or request any service that violates Indian law
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any other user
• Create fake or misleading profile information
• Attempt to move communication off-platform before a booking is confirmed
• Share screenshots, recordings, or personal data of other users
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's booking or payment process

All users remain fully responsible for their conduct, punctuality, safety choices, and legal compliance during every interaction arranged through the platform.

All first meetups — and where possible, all subsequent meetups — must take place at a public venue such as a café, cinema lobby, park, restaurant, or event entrance.

Users should use the in-app reporting tools if they experience or witness any concerning behaviour. BuddyOnRent reviews all reports and reserves the right to take action — including account suspension — based on reported incidents.

• Always confirm the meeting location before the outing date
• Share your meeting details with a trusted contact outside the platform
• Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, you may leave
• Report any uncomfortable interactions using the in-app report button

BuddyOnRent strongly encourages users to read all safety guidance available in the FAQ and How It Works sections before their first meeting.

Payment for all companionship services is settled in cash directly between the customer and buddy after the outing concludes. There is no online payment gateway on the platform during the current beta.

The rate must be agreed by both parties before the booking is confirmed. The agreed rate is final — last-minute changes are not acceptable and may result in a dispute report.

• Rates are displayed as hourly amounts on each buddy's profile
• Both parties should agree on the total duration before meeting
• Payment disputes should be reported to our team via the contact page
• Buddies must not charge beyond the agreed rate without prior consent

All buddy profiles are admin-reviewed before they appear publicly on the platform. Our team checks photos, bio content, and category selections for compliance with these terms and community guidelines.

Admin may suspend, hide, or permanently remove any profile, request, or account at any time and without prior notice during the beta period if:

• The profile or content violates these terms
• A credible report of misconduct is received
• The account is deemed a safety risk to other users
• Fraudulent, misleading, or impersonating behaviour is detected

BuddyOnRent is in beta and the platform is actively growing. Moderation policies will continue to evolve. Users will be notified of significant policy changes through the platform.

BuddyOnRent is a marketplace platform that connects customers with buddies. We do not employ buddies, guarantee the outcome of any meeting, or bear responsibility for the actions of any user on or off the platform.

By using BuddyOnRent, you acknowledge that:

• BuddyOnRent is not responsible for any harm arising from user interactions
• The platform does not verify all claims made by users in their profiles or messages
• Any disputes between users are the responsibility of those users to resolve
• BuddyOnRent may assist with mediation but is not a legal authority

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuddyOnRent disclaims all liability for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the platform.

Your privacy is important to us. BuddyOnRent collects only the information necessary to run the platform and connect users safely.

• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
• Verification documents submitted for ID badges are stored securely
• We use industry-standard encryption for all sensitive data

BuddyOnRent is a beta platform and these terms will evolve as we grow. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

When significant changes are made, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify registered users via email or in-app notification
• Provide a reasonable period before major changes take effect

Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account by contacting us.
